Davidsonary 925
The chorus of that song still slays me until today. I love it when she changes the way she sang the chorus for every performance. Oh hello. What is this space down here? Where am I?
AccountClosed 4
Well to me each release has a different taste so they´re not all the same therefore unable to compare them equally but I would say that the one I enjoyed the most was Born This Way, that video and all the outré performances with alien prosthetics and whatnot gave me life during those times. Guest
The Paparazzi --> Bad Romance --> Telephone  time was insane. So yeah, maybe for some.
Born To Slay 10,996
I was coming here to say no but you convinced me it is, even tho I so love The Edge Of Glory era as well.
InsideOutright 1,118
I'm from the U.S. and Applause is a big radio hit here. I also don't see Do What U Want being forgotten as well since its so different for her. â€‹This. It's arguably Gaga's biggest radio hit right now (not of all time, but out what left of Gaga radio stations still play). I rarely hear Gaga on the radio at all anymore and about half the time I do hear her, it's Paparazzi. The amount of Gaga songs that my local stations carry vary, but almost all of them no longer have any singles after The Edge of Glory. Paparazzi is the only one they all have in common. One station in particular around here barely plays Gaga at all now (and the DJ's often shade her on the air), and Paparazzi is the song of hers that gets played the most. XoXoJoanneGaga 629
I think so actually. One of her very best songs and the persona during this era was incredible, it was the perfect climax for THE FAME. This along with Bad Romance was the peak blend of her commerciality and unique artistry, everyone took notice.
Miley Ray Cyrus 26
Paparazzi, Bad Romance, Telephone, Judas, BTW, and APPLAUSE were all the best
Blue Jeans 3,815
Not really... tbh I hated her during her debut so im a little biased, also the song never captured me. I still find it imo, to be a filler of The Fame.  Hidden Content You're really biased Paparazzi a filler ? its one of the best songs she's ever written lyrically and melodically.. i recommend you listen to it again and pay attention to the lyrics... its such a beautiful well crafted piece of music.. the metaphore she uses to explain an Obsession with love, that stalkarish feeling we all get and we don't understand why, the fact that we put people we love in a pedastal as if they were famous as we were Paparazzis.. the instrumental follows and flows so well with the lyrics its creepy in the verses and the chorus is so big, for me its the ultimate love song.. Destiny is for losers. It’s just a stupid excuse to wait for things to happen instead of making them happen
blacklistedd 599
I don't feel like Applause is considered a Gaga classic. I mean obviously its recognizable but its just not remotely beloved even by the majority of the fanbase let alone general consumers.
isak 173
When Paparazzi hit everyone started paying a crazy amount of attention to her. Then Bad Romance came to slay. The world was left to soak up the blood of all those who had been slain.
Bradley 59,433
I wasn't in this era but I think Born This Way (song) was the best era she and I had ever had together. The song broke so many records and performed extremely well, I was so proud of Gaga and I heard the song everywhere.
