It's up to the other countries in the Middle East to lend aide to their neighboring countries, protect the innocent people in those areas and also keep these ancient artifacts safe.They have the people and the money to step in and stop some of this madness. If they aren't willing to do it, why in the hell should the U.S. step in? It's past time for the countries in the Middle East to do something about the barbarians next door! Isis wants to take Iraq back to 7th century in religion/morality/justice system, they burn libraries etc. No other group controlling a state has a vision that regressive.
