I got my copies of Paradise on CD and vinyl today. I'm listening to the vinyl copy right now, and it sounds SO FREAKIN' AMAZING. :legend:

"American" and the studio version of "Body Electric" are blowing my mind right now. So far, the new arrangement of "Yayo" is the only song I can't exactly "get into."

did anyone get the Paradise vinyl? is it just me or is it completely damaged in the center of the vinyl

Are you talking about the labels, or some other part of the vinyl? My labels looked a bit odd, but I was unable to detect any other problems.

So much love for Paradise. I love how BTD had a kind of minimal, laid back vibe, whereas Paradise is more full-on and even manic in some places (the use of repetition, i.e. "i sing the body electric, sing that body electric, sing that body electric" like a chant).

 Im not sure I'd be good at it at all tho haha. Though like I said, Paradise feels so much more intense, less restrained for the sake of sounding pretty (IMO), than BTD. "Im tired of feeling like Im ****ing crazy" in Ride, "My *** tastes like pepsi-cola" and the "Woah-woah" bit in Cola (her voice is so exposed, more so than on any part of BTD), the manic repetition of "I sing the body electric" in Body Electric, "Dope, shoot it up" "Looking to get ****ed hard" in Gods & Monsters etcetc. I also like the way almost every track builds up relentlessly to a climax (Ride, American-kind-of, Cola, Body Electric, Gods & Monsters).I don't really have a point here, these are just my thoughts tho, I doubt anyone is thinking anything different
