Miel 15,009 Posted February 26, 2015 Share Posted February 26, 2015 1 reason it won't work- The show has been awful, and Ryan Murphy has shown with Glee that anything after the first 2-3 years just starts floundering till it dies. She jumped on this horse waaaaay too late. Here's to hoping it'll be better this time around? I haven't seen to much of the show, but I've seen half of Asylum (really liked) and about half of Coven (also really liked). I'm too lazy to pull the Nielson data, but come on. Saying the show is terrible because one season got mixed ratting is BS. That's like saying Gaga is S*** because ARTPOP didn't do well, That's just one album out of 5. Just like freak show is 1 out of 4 amazing seasons. And I don't know what your talking about, The shows quality is pretty spectacular. You also contradicted yourself "popularity doesn't mean quality" but yet your whole argument is that the show has bad rating so she shouldn't be on because of that? I'm sure Gaga will put in her best possible effort, She doesn't half ass things. She is making a smart move by trying to cater to teens. The show is still widely popular among certain age groups and I think its great Gaga will be on. She grabbed the attention of the elders and adults with Cheek to Cheek and the Oscar performance. I know A LOT of people who PREFERED Freak Show to Asylum, so there's literally no saying in that, even if we think that it is the worst quality wise.
