My version of the Sound of Music Oscars Performance

Synopsis:

The performance starts of with a dark stage. Then, suddenly, a violin is heard and a spotlight is shone upon the stage. The song Prelude from the Sound Of Music starts and Gaga enters the stage on a platform. She is dressed like she was on the actual Oscars. As soon as she steps off the platform, The Sound of Music starts to play. For the duration of this part of the medley, Gaga is stationery and has a microphone stand. Gaga, as the music transitions from The Sound of Music to My Favourite Things, greets the audience and walks down the runway and stops about halfway. She sings a section of My Favourite Things. Gaga then makes the audience aware that it's time for them to participate and goes on to sing Do-Re-Mi. Gaga then steps back onto the platform, which raises up four feet in front of a mountain on the video screen, making it look Gaga is stood on the mountain. She sings Climb Ev'ry Mountain and then walks over to her guitarist to sing Edelweiss. After the slow, gentle song, Gaga thanks the audience and says farewell. She then launches into So Long, Farewell, which gets the audience clapping along. Gaga then exits the stage and recieves a standing ovation. The End.

I think it would give me Katy @ Superbowl teas. Too childlike.

 

In my opinion I think it would work great in another context though.
