Cody Draco 2,531
I was in the front row at artRAVE, and it was spectacular, beautiful, and exciting. I made this video from my seat. https://vimeo.com/100648495 Thank you so much for sharing this, I loved it.

MANiCURE1295 8,673
I had WAY more fun at the artRAVE but that may have been due to the fact that it was my first time on the floor. But the artRAVE was amazing and the experience was exactly what gaga was looking for and it was perfect. At least I had an amazing time. I'm sorry you didn't. This is a typical "fanbase" thread. At the BTWB, people complained about the lighting. At the Monsterball the fans complained about a cheap looking set. It's one thing to respect another monster's opinion, but to say the set looked like "styrofoam" because it was just white is ignorant. That was the point of this show and era: that she is a shapeshifter and takes on many forms which she manifested in her tour set. We know what the set was supposed to resemble, and it's quite obvious the set was white so the lighting could illuminate the set in different colors (as other intelligent monsters noted), which it obviously did. That catwalk was the most innovative thing I have ever seen in my life, and the experience was absolutely amazing. The ONLY criticism I had about the show was me wishing she utilized more props (i.e, the elevated monster paw) and made some of the performances more interesting. But this tour is not comparable to her other tours which is exactly what she goes for. To say the tour looked cheap when you know damn well as a "monster" she put her heART and soul to this production, broke from her manager, and wanted to carry her own vision throughout, is very disrespectful. ViGaga 777
i dont understand how it could be cheap. it cost very much to travel with the stage and the design and lighting and everthing i honestly think artRave was amazing. Spock 20,290
I wouldn't say it looked cheap, but it could have been loads better. While the transparent catwalks were cool, I didn't like that they were above you. Also, the stage was just all over the place and I hated that she was running around the whole time and did not pick a specific place to stage the whole show and then branch out from there. 2/3 of the whole show was on a random catwalk in the middle like who will love me when the night is over
DriverMonster 10
I agree with every word. Definitely her worst. I just chalk it up to it matching her worst era. It was fitting. She was going thru hard times. She will do better next time.
MonsterofFame 1,780
Her outfits/fashion seemed really cheap throughout the ARTPOP-era as well. They didn't have the weird-but-high-fashion look her previous eras had. Let's be honest here -- the ARTRAVE was thrown together in only a few months to save face and move on. Gaga was going through a lot personally, and she didn't want to scrap the era, so I respect her for that and accept that things weren't the greatest. Andrew 375
I've been to all TMB, BTWB & Artrave & have to agree. The show itself wasn't bad but I found the whole thing to be quite forgettable. The Monster Ball & Born This Way Ball were real benchmark tours, you could see that she had put alot of hard work and money into them .... I don't sense the same was done with the Artrave. It seemed quite rushed in how it was put together, and on the whole compared to her previous tours it overall looked quite cheap. I still had a great time at the Artrave, however - I believe Gaga has given us better shows in the past.

Andy McQueen 4,484
I respect your opinion. I personally loved it in every sense, it was my first Gaga concert and I was completly mindblown by everything.
