Very cool. Probably a limited release(500 cinemas and under). Do people still go to the movie theater to watch concerts? Is this even a concert or maybe a behind the scenes documentary?

Its a concert, at least thats the category its in.

 

Probably the PBS special or the Brussels concert.

I'm not sure :x according to Wikipedia, there is no tour show scheduled that day, so it may not be a live-stream?

 

I know Fathom Events live streams the Met Opera and Rifftrax Live! events, so I guess it still could be possible?

Hmm peculiar, because I doubt they'd show something that's been shown on TV, so I'd assume it's something not seen before :omg:

 

I have no inside info, but I'm guessing it will be the Brussels performance. Reason being, we know that it was filmed, but it hasn't been broadcast or released yet.

I almost forgot about that until you mentioned it! :udidnt: That'd make total sense though - possibilities possibilities :huh:

Tony Bennett, Lady Gaga coming to a movie theater near you!

We’re not sure what to make of this news that’s been kept quiet, but according to Fathom Events a Tony Bennett and Lady Gaga Cheek To Cheek film is coming to theaters in April.

 

No information is currently available on the film, but we’re guessing fans can expect a full 90-minute concert experience on the big screen. While it’s not the documentary that Lady Gaga’s Little Monsters have been patiently waiting for, it’s definitely big news for both Bennett and Gaga.

 

According to the website, Tony Bennett and Lady Gaga: Cheek To Cheek will open in theaters on April 30. The duo won a Grammy last Sunday for their duets album, which was the number one selling album the week it hit stores last September. The jazz duo have been performing their Cheek To Cheek Live tour since December.

 

It’s been an eventful month for Lady Gaga fans. In addition to the news of the Cheek To Cheek film, a new Lady Gaga song will premiere in theaters on February 27 and the ARTPOP star is scheduled to perform at the Academy Awards on February 22.
