exoskeleton123 6
I am all for a new change in Gaga's sound. It is time for the inner Stefani to come our and reign supreme (for this album at least). I want organic instrumentation, I mean sure the occasional synthesizer is cool. But i want Piano, Fender Rhodes, Electric Guitar, Strings, Sax, Some Horns. Basically I want her to sound like Elton John, Billy Joel, and Bruce Springsteen on Speed. Some Disco or Funk Influence would be dope too, I could totally see Gaga doing a Donna Summer esque track with Giorgio Moroder. She can always go back to the synth pop of The Fame Monster, and ARTPOP but i think for her own evolution as an artist, she should finally make the organic masterpiece that will make people say holy ****. DREAM WISHLIST FOR LG5 Producers + Songwriters + Collaborators Diane Warren (Critically acclaimed songwriter) RedOne (Self Explanatory) Giorgio Moroder (Pioneer of Dance Music, Genius) Nile Rodgers (Genius, Collabed with Daft Punk, Member of Chic) Jimmy Iovine (produced springsteen's records) Paul Epworth (brilliant engineer, and producer. Helped work on Adele's 21.) Sia (I wouldn't want Gaga to sing a Sia written song, I would want them to co-write) Rick Rubin (produced Dope, I need more from them) Kanye West (self explanatory) William Orbit (he's just a genius, I wouldn't want some Ray of Light esque material though). Elton John (A Duet between the two of them would totally work if this is going to be her stripped back album) I'm still thinking of ideas... I AM NOT SAYING THERE SHOULD BE NO SYNTHS/DRUM MACHINES ON LG5. I AM MERELY WISHING THAT THERE MIGHT BE A LITTLE LESS OF THEM, SO THAT THE ORGANIC INSTRUMENTS CAN SHINE A LITTLE MORE. exoskeleton123 6
I agree. Need more performances like the Stevie wonder tribute. STEFANI IS COMING This. I'm not trying to compare her to anyone, but the reason 21 was so critically acclaimed was because it combined easy to swallow well written songs, with organic musicality. The old people weren't turned off because there weren't synthesizers and drum machines all over the place. Sometimes, I feel like Gaga's voice gets lost in the instrumentals of some of her songs in a good way and a bad way, and i feel like if she uses real instruments, people will pay attention to her voice. Supersonic 49,376
Why would you put RedOne, Giorgio Moroder and William Orbit on your list if you don't want Gaga to make synthpop/electropop?

exoskeleton123 6
Why would you put RedOne, Giorgio Moroder and William Orbit on your list if you don't want Gaga to make synthpop/electropop? RedOne contributed to the songwriting not just the production of several of her songs. Giorgio's work with Donna Summer is mostly organic with real instruments. William Orbit is just a brilliant songwriter, and producer in general.

I feel she shouldn't work with Kanye because his head has become inflated with self-love and arrogance She also shouldn't work with William Orbit because he no longer produces music like from Ray of Light. He's also seems contemptible and just not a good fit for Gaga. He's old news and he just makes stuff for the money nowadays If Gaga wants to go for a change of pace in her career, she should work with Arca, Röyksopp and Eg White in my opinion. She should also make only music written by herself only, I feel

RedHotAndBlue 12
yeah that tour was cancelled and was planned before Kanye became more of an as$hole I think Kanye's "personality" is more of an act, it's all pretty complex.
