So I'll probably need to listen to it a few more times but so far I am a little underwhelmed. Don't get me wrong, I like the album I just expected something a bit more exciting. All the songs are well written and well produced but not much on this album stands out.

Solitaire is probably the best song on the album. My faves are Solitaire, Froot, Happy, Blue, Savages, I'm A Ruin, Weeds and Better Than That.

I am actually a bit confused about her release strategy tbh. I mean she has already released the most radio friendly/catchy/recognizable songs. I know she's not massively bothered with being huge but does she not want any kind of success with her singles? The Froot audio racked up over a million views pretty fast and it got a lot of positive press but it wasn't promoted as a single and the video was low budget looking and underwhelming. The Audio still has a lot more views than the video, this wouldn't have happened if the video was actually interesting and didn't use a bad radio edit of the song. Froot should have been a proper lead single with a better video, unmessy radio edit and promo. Happy also got posative attention and could have done ok as the second single. Other than that I'm A Ruin, Savages and maybe Blue could probably all do alright as singles

Sure she's released some songs and given them videos but other than the "I'm A Ruin" vid they aren't particularly high budget looking and she's given each song only a month of focus with no proper promo. She can do as she likes ofc but I feel like she will struggle a lot more to get any hits with this era.
