Taylor Swift sues her ex-guitar teacher

It's not like Taylor herself is finding these people to sue, it's probably just her team/label who decide. She probably has little control over it. :rip:

Also suing does not mean earn money? It can also mean simply stop using my name to profit? I don't see anywhere in the OP where she's demanding money?

That's a good point, they could have asked him to not use the site, but he refused. So they're making him stop through legal procedures.

I like Taylor a lot I honestly do, but NO ONE besides her stans think that suing this guy is okay. This is just pathetic on her part.

If I go to the 1989 Tour which I plan to I'm wearing a shirt that says **** YOUR TRADEMARKS TAYLOR :hehe:

The pop sensation is not amused by Ronnie Cremer’s domain name itaughttaylorswift.com  and she’s threatening legal action.

The Taylor Swift empire is threatening legal action against the computer tech who claims he taught the pop star how to play guitar and write songs.

Soon after Ronnie Cremer told his Swift tale to the Daily News last month, the part-time musician purchased the domain name itaughttaylorswift.com. A week later, Swift's legal team sent an email demanding that he shut down the site, and threatened further legal action if he did not.

"I almost feel like they were trying to bully me a little bit," Cremer told The News on Tuesday. "I'm not giving back the domain name. I mean, Go Daddy sold it to me."

On Feb. 6, Cremer received an email from TAS Rights Management, LCC saying that Cremer's domain name, "incorporates the famous Taylor Swift trademark in its entirety and suggests TAS's sponsorship or endorsement of your website. The Domain Name and your use of the Domain Name are also highly likely to dilute, and to tarnish, the famous Taylor Swift trademark."

The letter goes onto "demand" that Cremer relinquish the domain name within three days of receipt.

Destiny is for losers. It’s just a stupid excuse to wait for things to happen instead of making them happen
