I already hate the dress, but I'm looking forward to the vocal slayage.  :excited:

She's been mentioning gold today, but yeah maybe it was just a rehearsal dress.

Jazz is not some sort of safe box that you can't open to create something new, fresh, different and non-conventional. The best thing about Gaga is that she never lost her personality and she always tried to make something her own. This is conventional and boring. That's what really disappoints about this whole jazz Era, the fact that Gaga adapted completely herself to the genre instead of using her social image to create a whole other thing with jazz.

Gaga best where ha Italiab curls or I will be mad if she doesn't. She can't spend an entire era with those things and just throw them away for a Grammy performance

I can't wait either!

Plot Twist: Tony's the one wearing the heels.

A night to remember!!

Just repeat to yourself, "It's just a show. I should really just relax."

Seems boring already, I'm sorry. What a waste of a performance just to go there sing and smile. I don't expect that kind of performance from Gaga, especially at the Grammys.

I think it's fantastic to see.

I remember Gaga during TF and TFM saying how she was always going to evolve and wanted to have a career where people could look back and see so many different artists. She has surely done that with The Grammy's.

She has had her piano duet with Elton John, her pro-equality choreo-heavy Born This Way performance and now she will be singing Jazz with Tony Bennett. What a damn incredible career and she is only 28.

The whole point of singing these Jazz classics is to sing them the way that you sing them.

If you think it's boring that's fine or maybe you just don't like the way she sings. Her singing and voice is the reason I'm a fan of her and I love her jazz style personally, if you are here for wild performances then you have some waiting to do. Meanwhile her Bang Bang performance is literally one of her best performances, ever.

If you were expecting shocking performances or grandiose set pieces for Jazz classics where the focus is on the voice, awkward. That's the whole point of her doing this in the first place, to take a break from that.

Streisand used "grandiose set pieces" when she covered these standers back in the 60's on her television specials. Nina Hagen gave shocking performances of these standards when she took them on. Grace Jones doesn't abandon her outrageous fashion sense when she is covering jazz standards at jazz festivals.

There is no excuse for Gaga, a performance artist praised for her creativity, to churn out identical performances of jazz standards. She is just doing Ella drag.

It wouldn't kill her to be a little more Gaga and a little less Lady while she is on stage with Tony.
