I'm not finding excuses. I'm just saying it how it is. But no Western nation is as socially barbaric as these people. I feel like you calling the US barbaric or any other nation minimizes the barbarism of these people... I felt like that's what you were trying to do. How are they not barbaric? is it because they use morals only on their people? or is it because they dress in suit and tie? or is it because they kill millions of people with bombs instead of beheading? The fact that she wasn't forced or that she has the possibility to not wear it because of interantional accords, it doesn't change the fact that the people in there wanted to see her wear it for respect, OBVIOUSLY not everybody but a lot of people claiming that she has being disprectful. Read all the article and not only the title or the parts that are more useful to prove your invalid points. Also if a muslim woman like michelle obama visits the french government in france with a head scarf alot of people would get offended by it.. the fact that it happened doesnt change that the fact that people there wanted to take her scarf off. I live in Saudi Arabia and nobody even mentions this michelle story infact everyone on facebook are making fun of this news. We have a princess here that goes on Sadui TV and magazines and walk in government without hijab and nobody is bothered. I had a turkish friend who moved there because her dad got a super high paying engineering job there. She was not wearing headscarf, plus she was going to private turkish high school so the school was even co-ed. Saudi Arabia is more like a hell for non-muslim/non-heteros-xual saudi men+saudi women. I never said the US doesn't commit barbaric acts.... I disagree with a lot of their actions.
