From what I heard, people were just mad they didn't have the same prices as in US. So now nobody wanted to shop there.

The K-Mart of Canada????

Mess. But I bet trashy Walmart is still open there.

I go to both stores for different things but Walmart is trash. The only reason to go is because it's quicker to find things and I'm OUT.

The problem with Target up here was that it was NOTHING like Target in the states. We didn't get the same clothing lines, or many of the normal things. They bought out a store called Zellers and took over a lot of their old locations, but it was basically Zellers 2.0.

I am upset that they won't be around for Christmas though because I have gotten some great tree ornaments there and they did bring up some US candy that we don't usually get.

It sucks anyways, Walmart is way better. We don't need Target tbh

More like Target's Elusive Chanteuse era (better a--logy as Mariah doesn't do as well outside the US).

Never mind Walmart, a lot of Canadians thought they were inferior or no better than the Zellers chain they took over. Also their supply and distribution system just wasn't ready for prime time when they opened.
