GHGUY 230
On one hand, its wreaking havoc on the comics and such since the CEO of Disney hate Fox, and wants to spite them and every time, leading to tons of issues with pushing Avengers/GotG. On the other, without X-men and F4, Marvel has had to play their hand in pushing other heroes into the forefront, such as Black Panther, Captain Marvel, and Black Bolt. Sadly, for DC, their TV division is already firing on cylinders, unlike their movies, which have shot themselves way too many times. I just feel DC has been very successful with animated series, and I feel it has a lot to do with the writing. Cant they hire the same writers of the shows and have them collaborate with other writers to bring these stories to a mature PG 13 audience that is more dark, mature, and fun at the same time? ryhanna 3,507
The epic rendition of I've Got Strings though..And a lot of the scenes in the new trailer are just extended scenes from the first one. It's still good, but the first one was better. The movie itself will no doubt be better than either trailer :P
GHGUY 230
They could really do without Hulk tbh, both the original and reboot flopped, though this is sad because he is supposed to be a very popwerful hero in the comics
ryhanna 3,507
We know Thor, Captain America, and Iron Man wont die because they have new movies after Avengers 2. But Black Widow, Hulk and Hawkeye could die because they don't have their own titles in the future. Also Nick Fury. But they 'faux' killed him in Cap 2. Logan 20,739
But DC still has the power of familarity. Even though the public has no idea about Superman's or Wonderwoman's back story they are still familiar with the image of the character and I think it will incline them to pay a ticket and watch the movie. I have no doubts BvS:DoJ will draw in the audiences, what matters is the quality of the movie and if it will win the public over enough to watch JL movie and all the sequels. I do feel its a shame that the CW tv series of Flash and Arrow does not tie in to the movie universe given they are very popular. I never understood how DC can have popular animated series (Batman TAS, Batman/Superman adventures, teen titans, young justice, justice league, etc) and popular shows (Smallville, Arrow, Flash) but cannot translate that to the big screen (Superman Returns flopped, Green Lantern flopped, Man of Steel did okay). I feel like A LOT is riding on BvS:DoJ. I only hope its high quality because I really wanna see a properly done JL movie, I feel it can do so much wonders for DC comics and could match the level of success as Avengers. Here's hoping .... To be honest DC has to rebuild their image with these upcoming movies. Avengers is such a hit because they've built a story, and it's not a one man movie. There's countless heroes and you have plenty of people to pick a favorite from. DC has had some pretty weak one man movies, so hopefully with the combined force of DC's biggest names (Batman and Superman), they can get audiences to be hyped for Justice League. Marvel has already established themselves, so for now they are losing. Between Star Wars and the new Avengers movie, it's going to be a very competitive market this year. Hawkeye dying isn't a new thing and might actually be a good thing, if it leads to the Young Avengers (Kate Bishop would be so flawless)

It would be a shame if she died because a lot of people are growing appreciation for her.

She Hulk could do a solo movie better than Hulk and have it be a hit (Imagine Legally Blonde with super heroics thrown in. Keep the tone light, street level, and fun)

I'm guessing that DC is doing the opposite of Marvel. Whereas Marvel started with solo hero movies that built up to Avengers I'm guessing WB wants to start with a big crossover movie (and pray it does well) and then give individual solo movies to the heroes (perhaps wonderwoman will get her own movie one day?). Although I feel a big reason for this is because they dont have the time and are trying to catch up with Marvel, or else it will take like 8 years before a Justice League movie ever gets released. Heck if suicide squad does well I'm guessing the villains might even get a solo movie or somehow tie in to a movie with their respective hero counterpart (though doubtful). DC I think is just playing all their cards into BvS:DoJ and JL or else its the end of that franchise. But I think they are gonna rebuild their image after the crossover movies, I mean I'm pretty sure they will give Ben Affleck's Batman his own movie universe, given he has nothing to do with Nolan's Batman universe Hulk is just very boring by himself. She Hulk could do a solo movie better than Hulk and have it be a hit (Imagine Legally Blonde with super heroics thrown in. Keep the tone light, street level, and fun) Haha I would pay to see that!
