Luc 4,776
Such things never happened in Indonesia. Where dis you hear that from? I can confirm this. Burqa and Niqab are still extremely rare in that country. Indonesia are far more laid back with their women except in Aceh which is 100% Muslim. I read it on a newssite like a year ago, and they said that it had happened in the past a few times
Melech 9,900
When European women go to Muslim countries they want them to wear a burqa too, so they shouldn't wear it when they come here. It's not like Muslims women choose to wear it anyway. well and those who want to wear it are most likely brainwashed
ItsJeff 2
Personally, I feel like this is a good idea. I do feel bad for the woman because it's a piece of their identity being taken away. BUT it allows for all citizens to feel like one and to have a society with no discrimination based on faith and what not. Faith, based on what we've seen in Paris, seems to be a major issue in the world, which is pathetic but here we are. If the only way we can get to an equal society with no judgement by banning religious wear in public, then so be it. There is no rule stating they can't practice in their home or place of worship anyway.
squeala 875
Dumb, people should be allowed to wear whatever they want. You can't claim it's immodest.

No it's different, it's not like saying: you can't wear skirts, low-necked top or high heels. It's a matter of facial recognizition, identity and security. It's not like Muslims women choose to wear it anyway. Not properly the burqa (that is the one that you have only the eyes out), but they demand that Western women wear the veil, and if it's not demand it's very suggested because it could be dangerous for a woman go around a city without the veil dressed with classic occidental dresses like skirts in there. well and those who want to wear it are most likely brainwashed To be honest... Valextra 58
Absolute nonsense Why? From Credit Cards, Banks Accounts, to Passports, people need to prove their identity. If your face is total covered, there could be any person behind the burqa.
