Great to see you actually think the same way I do about this, Palestine deserves independence but they can't atm although it might be one of the underlying problems causing jihadism (the feeling that the west is trying to take over the Middle East some have). They killed hundreds of Palestinians, the people are bound to be from all different professions. Furthermore many journalists put themselves in harm's way. It has a position of #96, with "noticeable problems" - that's not exactly the standard of a nation that presents itself as representing democratic values. The stats seem to say otherwise; of course you being in Israel could be more accurate but once you rely on that logic, there is no point in you even posting this thread because surely the stats could be misleading for absolutely every country on this list Europe's media in itself isn't all that free anyway; plus there's still huge variation between the very top; Finland and the bottom EDIT: there's probably a bit of hyperbole in the idea that europe's media isn't free because it's obvious that as a continent we're far ahead Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
