Lana <3 Ryan said Female Power and Witches many times during many interviews tho he never explicitly said witches. he said he wanted evil glamor, another Romeo+Juliet story like with Tate and Violet, and to film in the country. Love Potion #9 and I Put A Spell on You aren't just coincidences though. I'm pretty sure witches are season 3. I'm also slightly mad that the image they used on the promo poster of the season (white creature with black eyes or the hydrobath) never directly appeared.
