All I see is - double standards. Double standards from Charlie Hebdo's side, yes probably. The fact that magazine fired the guy because of political correctness and bad press just says that they're not really for freedom of speech and some groups have more rights than others. If this would be other organization, which represents other religion or group, suing the cartoonist, would anyone even take the case? Would magazine try again to be politically correct? Philippe Val, who was Charlie Hebdo's director at the time has been criticised for his censorship by many cartoonists (from Charlie Hebdo itself as well as other publications.) - he quit Charlie Hebdo in 2009.
