That is easier said than done, unfortunately. :fat:

Germany was rebuilt thanks to foreign workers after the world wars. Of course, their children and grandchildren belong to Germany and they have every right to. Most immigrants or German citizens with roots adapt to the lifestyles in Germany. They behave. There are thousands of districts in Germany living in peace and tolerance BECAUSE of foreigners. Most Germans learn to appreciate a multicultural society the moment they are born. They have neighbors, friends, and even relatives that moved to Germany. It is something that defines our country. It doesn't take foreigners to spread a virus called extremist, nowadays a single website or a video on YouTube can do that. People, including German citizens of "German blood", watch videos and convert to (in this case) Islam. They start feeling like they are finally being useful and appreciated by their surroundings. There are lots of converted Muslims that are NOT radical, but also a few that are. Thus concluding that it isn't something that can be taken care of by simply not allowing refugees to live a peaceful life in Germany. Anyone could be violent.

Exactly. Especially refugees suffering on the radicalism of both sides

Liebe Grüße

André

I agree, but most Germans don't take nazis seriously. We've reached a point where we believe that nazis will never ever be powerful again. I don't know why, but most Germans don't see a threat in them (as an immigrant myself I definitely do). Should we take care of them nonetheless? Definitely.

Maybe the reason they don't see them as threat is because neonazi groups don't target the natives, so I suppose immigrants are as scared of them as regural native German is afraid of radical muslims?

Never thought about that, but that could be possible! Fortunately, most Germans do care and act when neo nazis cross the line. For example the other day a group in Eastern Germany (Dresden, I think) was founded demanding action against Muslims (peaceful ones included) and millions of German citizens got vocal about not supporting a racist and Islam hating party. The fear for nazis and other racist groups may not be as huge as the fear for radical Muslims, but it's something, I guess.
