Madonna responds to rumours of "Two Steps Behind ME" being a dig...

I guess She's Not Me is about gaga as well then, even though it was released before gaga even had her first hit.

"The enemy"?

I don't even know what monsters expect tbh. She could be bowing down to all of gaga's records and ya'll still would call her pathetic. If you want to keep living in hatred, I guess that's what you should do.

Ive seen monsters made death threats against madonna today, it's absolutely insane.

She's Not Me is obvioulsy about a mistress. Just as obvious as 2 Steps Behind is about Gaga. I say this as a Madonna fan. There's no deny. I mean, "where are my royalties"? ??? ???

Please, you weren't even a Madonna's fan until the last month, stop acting like you know her well.

I still remember being 8, having her full discography and buying AL at the store. Been to my first M show at 12. I didn't know about the idiotic "stan culture" until recently, but I can assure you I've been a fan for long.

:fail:

Gaga and Madonna BOTH believe in equality. If they worked together, they could promote some really amazing things around the world. But instead we're stuck with this.

People write articles about an unreleased song that MIGHT be about Gaga, but not about Madonna's messages of equality. People want to say no one cares about Gaga but give a **** when she's supposedly getting shaded.

The media focuses on the wrong things.

Madonna has been on the scene for decades, so she's known many "Gaga's" in her career, not once did she write a thing about them.

Gaga and her fans should stop the fantasy...

Maybe we can ask the same question about gaga: why is she responding with this voodoo nonsense? I've seen some scary posts by monsters of wanting to murder her and **** like that after that instagram post.

Why is gaga allowed to shade and Madonna isn't allowed to make things better? Why are you all so entitled about it?

It all depends on how you look at it. the FACT is that gaga is not innocent in this either. They both said some **** about each other, indirectly or directly.

come one dude, you are denying the truth.

Yeah right, she could have written it thinking about everybody, but considering what has been said about Lady GaGa by Madonna Fanbase over the years, starting a song with "You're a copycat" is enough to make all the speculations over a direct reference more than legit.

And by the way, madonna made me laugh real hard today: she is accusing the world to promote a war against women... And she keep on writing these kind of songs because... ?

This is getting more and more ridiculous... And I am a Madonna fan since 20 years now.

I'm refuting the accusation that someone jumped ship in the last month (note your usage of the singular); when stats show otherwise. Your accusation wasn't that they "don't know what are her true intentions" which is a pretty obvious accusation to make, given that nobody here is her :spin:

Please, I'm not the only one who noticed that in here.

It's a way of saying, it could be also the last year, the concept remains the same, there are people in here who don't even know who Madonna was until 2 months ago and now suddenly they assume to perfectly know who she is and what she has done, and what she thought.

And by the way, I didn't even quote you, let people speak for themselves, we don't need lawyer in here.

Are you calling the 'Witch' comment from her Insta a shade towards Madonna? If so, you are wrong. I sure that had nothing to do with the song.

I've seen Madonna's fans' post too, so let's not go there.

And Gaga hasnt talked about Madonna in years. The leaked song is Madonna's. Recorded for her 2015 album. Stop twisting things.

She even ordered her fans on instagram NOT to shade gaga on her site. Just so you know.

And if she'd apologise monsters would still say horrible things about her. you know that won't help. they're too angry.

find me a interview or a performance in which Lady Gaga said something insultant/Agressive towards madonna and we can discuss about it.

And when i said it, I mean something like the EY/BTW/ She's not me medley during her whole tour, for instance.

Alright, let's say the song is about gaga. You don't know how old that demo is. she clearly didn't want it to be released either.

for all you know, gaga could have a dozen demos shading madonna as well. thing is: you don't know that for sure. just like this unreleased demo was supposed to stay private. She clearly talks behind her back to people like Elton John, Howard stern, Donatella, and many others. We could have many "what ifs", but in the end, we now have Madonna taking the first step and wanting this bull**** to end. Meanwhile gaga is talking some Voodoo nonsense. What does that say about her?

Obviously not for lyrics and time of release, even if she used it to do that in the last tour, but not sure about the intent of this post :spin:

well the tour is long gone and its about to be 3yrs old now. It's time to move on. People can change ya know.

The voodoo nonsense has been posted the day before the song leaked... I love how you try to "relativize" what is clearly a Madonna recording, clearly intended for her next album, clearly a Lady GaGa shade, and at the same time you take A POST MADE A DAY BEFORE as an undeniable proof that GaGa shades Madonna IN PUBLIC* too

In public: I do not give a **** about what she says when she is having dinner with had boyfriend, it's the example you gave to your fans that counts, and the exemple Madonna gave to her fans over the years is the you have to be an arrogant b---h insulting everyone in order to succeed in life (now she does it with gaga, but over the years she did it with Janet, with Paula Abdul, with whitney, with Mariah, with virtually EVERYONE.)

It's certainly meant to be about someone, and it doesn't really matter if that someone is Gaga -- either way, it gives the lie to Madonna's statement that "I do not wish ill will towards any other female artist and i never have!". If she now regrets writing and recording that song, great. But yes, she did wish ill will towards... someone. There are much more damning things that Madonna has done, for example the omission -- very clearly intentional, given the detailed inclusion of credits for other songs that barely appear in the show -- of any credit for "Born This Way" in the credits of the MDNA DVD. I'd like to see her explain/justify that, given this new stance that Gaga is a strong woman (i.e. implying that Madonna admires her) and that there's no feud. But if we suppose that Madonna's view was "well, Gaga didn't credit me for Express Yourself" -- an attitude IMHO both delusional and spiteful -- then that would fit all too well with the "where's my royalties" line in "Two Steps Behind".
