HausOfGuy 10
Its hard to "learn from the past" when to this day young black men (or even children) are getting shot by white cops (or in Zimmerman's case, he was a ****ing civilian) and get away scotch free or hell, give them a million damn dollars for it. well the fact that **** like this still happens just proves that yall should learn from the past. im not saying that everything is fine and the battle is over. Fight for your rights and fight for whats yours. My point is that all this cultural segregation doesnt help. Like i said before, i doesnt even look like yall live in the same country... all this injustice and "Race X Vs. Race Y. Vs Race Z" thing. Its 2014 for ****s sake. It shocks me that this is still a thing.

SissyFromSpace 20,883
somebody remembers Vanilla Ice Except they do. Like yourself, for example. People remember Eminem, people WILL remember Iggy Azalea AKA the reviver of the destruction that was Rap Music. So happy she saved a genre  Barbie elitist - Weaboo - Sissy

codymonster 8,360
This is why i cant stand her. She says some intelligent things in the interview, but then ruins it by continually attacking Iggy on Twitter. IGGY IS A WHITE RAPPER AND PEOPLE LIKE HER. Whether Azealia thinks thats racist that shes more popular is her own problem. However, its not Iggy's fault that shes popular What does she want Iggy to do. Say "sorry guys, Im gonna stop rapping, cause thats only for black people." Like, wtf :dead: If she wants speak out about black rights and the industry, by all means, do so. But stop attacking Iggy personally. It just looks desperate and filled with jealousy.
Ray of Light 8,134
I'm really conflicted. Azealia fans say that girls like Iggy have it easy, that they make it easier in the industry. But I ask this question, exactly how many white female rappers has there been in the industry? Most female rappers, those that experienced great peaks were of African decent. Lil Kim, Misty, Nicki, etc. How many "culture thiefs" have successfully made it into the rap/hip hop subculture? Sounds like there's been countless of them taking Azealia's attitude into account. And yes, it's very nice to see Azealia fans take a stand on social issues, it shows a really neat side in them. But when Azealia herself decides to very-poorly nickname and insult Iggy along with sending out the link to her album when it's all send and done... You wonder about the intention. This so much If she wants to take a stand against racial issues, she definitely should! But she shouldn't do so by attacking Iggy and saying her success is only cause she's white. That in itself is racist. She's making it look like shes bitter and jealous, and trying to milk this silly fued, add a little bit of racial issues, and create promo for her album. Bio 23,538
Azealia is disrespecting her own culture by using real issues to sell her album. She's not even trying to hide it for god's sake. That download link on the bottom is so embarassing. This is why it's so hard to side with her.
FKAJAKE 5
messsss. I agree and disagree with AB. She makes some good points, but idk some of the stuff she says is just tasteless. I wouldnt want some random ass pop star appropriating my culture, but at the end of the day, what can we do? Where i come from, we dont have that cultural segregation they have in the US. We're very united. All this Black Vs White thing thats been going on in america is so strange to me, its almost like ya'll dont live in the same country. Why not embrace eachother's cultures and get along. Move on, learn from the past and stop fighting about it. this comment makes me feel physically sick i'm white and from the UK, so i could not be more detached from the black issues in america and i have no clue how it feels for black people in america but they were ****ing kidnapped and enslaved SO WHAT THE **** DO BLACK PEOPLE HAVE TO LEARN FROM THE PAST? WE CAN'T TELL BOTH SIDES OF THE ARGUMENT TO MOVE ON WHEN ONE SIDE OF THE ARGUMENT HAS VERY RECENTLY ENSLAVED THE OTHER SIDE? i feel sick and i know you're probably trying to be a pacifist but we can't come at this issue telling everyone to calm down, Azealia has every right to her feelings and iggy should sit down and listen
