This really, I was talking today to some girls in class about nickis new album and I said I was gonna go buy it after school and they looked at me weird and said why? When you could just listen to it on spotify for free? And then some of them said they only downloaded the songs with beyonce and ariana grande

 Help their souls!

ok. get you were trying to be funny. but also metacritic is a combination of reputable sources reviewing an album. its not one review.

Didn't expect other replies from those pop queens in a thread when it is about something they don't like (bias)/haven't heard of/isn't their cup of tea.

Some act the same like straight guys shading pop queens tbh. :applause:

Suddenly all the Hip Pop, Rnb, Rap experts or whatever came out and everybody in here know him perfectly but nobody ever opened a thread or talk about his music before in here, in the last months.

By the way, it's full of great, solid and quality albums with no collaborations that charted poorly, quality not always means high sales or vice versa, I thought that this concept was pretty clear since ages.

What about those album with no collaboration that sell a lot but basic and quality poorly as hell.

This is just generalization, congrats on his sales tho.

Music not the bling, J. Cole. Music, not the bling :derpga:

If you see me posting like crazy, I'm either bored or procrastinating.

That's because most ppl in here don't like the genre so making threads about him or related doesn't make much sense.

Well you have to open it first before said that, you never know.

By the way, my speak is in general, I just can't with some people who think to be better musically speaking and that they generalize about what "gay white male" listen, but then they spend all their time in the Madonna, Britney or "the last arrived Tumblr Queen" threads, because if I start to shade all the people in here who doesn't know very big names in the music business a lot more important and relevant that made history, I will never end to do that.

Same thing can also be said on albums that sold a lot due to in-your-face hype but doesnt hold any artistic innovation. Oops.

"Reputable" as in super biased individuals who write for random websites. They don't have any more credibility than some random person.

I hate the idea that metacritic is somehow better. They include scores of zero and 100 and several of their websites give more than one score for one thing but they only count one. Metacritic scores are as meaningless as the user scores. The most meaningul things about reviews are what they say because then you can at least tell if they are haters or bandwagoners.

Blue Jeans

Not people here calling J.Cole irrelevant :fail:

Well he's so irrelevant that he sold the double of what Nicki is expected to sell, and this without promo or singles :fame:

I don't agree with his statement tho, a lot of good music is put out, but doesn't sell well, and music like Tay tay or 1D sell a lot but the quality is :awkney:

Destiny is for losers. It’s just a stupid excuse to wait for things to happen instead of making them happen
