ALX 170 Posted December 15, 2014 Share Posted December 15, 2014 a previous user noted this type of attack would be orchestrated by Al Qaeda, so this is the conspiracy theorist in me but: What if this was orchestrated by Al Qaeda, who doesn't associate with ISIL anymore, in order to make ISIS look even worse in the eyes of theater world powers ultimately encouraging a larger call to arms against the IS? I think he is one of those sick people who commit crimes simply for publicity. He purposely chose that Cafe because it was right in front of the Channel 7 building and had no problem showing his face. Normally extremists are more aggressive and vocal about what they are protesting about and cause serious harm to the hostages which he has not done yet. He has talked to the police several times yet he is concealing/hiding the reason why he is doing this which an Islamic probably would not do. Idk it seems fishy.
