It's unclear right now, it's a live feed. There have been at least two people who just ran out of the front doors to the heavily armed police and one who ran through the fire escape in a similar fashion. We do know police do have contact with the gunman now. All they can say about the three people is that they are now safe and with police, they cannot discuss whether they were negotiated out or escaped. I'm not fully educated on what that means, but I've been told its associated with Al Queada (sp?) but I'm not sure. The sort of attack sound more like Al Quada's approach too.
