TonzaPOP123 142
What songs do you think were on ARTPOP in 2012 when Gaga was supposed to release the lead single from ARTPOP (it was supposed to come in early 2013)? I think Sire, TEA, Princess Die (I don't know if Lana Del Rey really collaborated with her) dance version, and Kick It (is it a real song title?) were on the album then. Also I bet that Onion Girl, Brooklyn Nights and Temple were scheduled for the album as well. I also guess that Applause, Donatella, Mary Jane Holland, Jewels N' Drugs were there too. There probably was 12/13 songs on the album. (Sorry for my bad English!)
Glory 2,247
Sexxx Dreams and G.U.Y i think, she talked about it early. Wasn't Sexxx Dreams supposed to be the lead single that" would all make us pee in our pants" ?

Aura was Burqa. Burqa/Aura was gonna be the first single. ARTPOP (song) was the same. Venus wasn't included. (Well Venus was recorded in like October 2013 so) Dope was I Wanna Be With U And much more...
Rat Boy 43,473
I feel like the earlier concepts and ideas for ARTPOP were much better than what we ended up getting. "****ing rat" - @Dynamite

Kim Kardashian 2,708
I feel like the earlier concepts and ideas for ARTPOP were much better than what we ended up getting. Maybe because that's what Gaga wanted to do and not what Interscope made her do. Shop SKIMS & SKKN BY KIM online! The Kardashians streaming now on Hulu and Disney+! Rat Boy 43,473
Maybe because that's what Gaga wanted to do and not what Interscope made her do. Not to be rude or anything but there were some songs on there that made surprised that Gaga approved them to be on the final cut. Perhaps you are right. bravenewworld 153
Aura was supposed to be the first single and jonas akerlund was supposed to be a director of the video which was supposed to be a sequel to the telephone video. And gaga wanted Aura to be the 1st single but interscope didn't approve it i think that fernando garibay songs or song were supposed to be on the album.I remember that gaga, garibay and djws started making ARTPOP.I think partynoseaous was supposed to be on ARTPOP, Dope was written in early 2013 when the tour was ending, gaga said it in swinfest. aaronyoji 2,054
I feel like the earlier concepts and ideas for ARTPOP were much better than what we ended up getting. hell yeah. her creativity was running wild at that time, and then by the fall of 2012 shed been working on the ARTPOP inventions, the app, the fiberoptic wig, it was about to all come into place. i think after the injury her label really ****ed things up because they didnt trust her. edit: tinnitus! i think mary jane holland was still in the picture, because she twittered a pic of her recording "the hardest weed track ever" in november 2012 when she was touring latin america i think. It just pisses me off because I am sorry to say but I was not a huge fan of ARTPOP. It all seemed so great and I was so pumped for it but in the end I was disappointed. There are gems on that album but their are also a lot of songs that shouldn't be there (in my opinion). "****ing rat" - @Dynamite
