Wig is messy but I really think that was on purpose and fits the aesthetic.

This type of performance gives me hope in the best way.

Omg i love it so much ROCKGA is slaying so hard.

Also screaming is big part of rock and i think you need to het used to it but than again rock is not for everyone. i personaly love it but maybe that is because i am big rock fan s0ecialy one with a lot of screaming.....for me rock is nothing without little bit of a scream in it.

Screaming is not a big part of Classical Rock and the song was classical rock so yeah ...

just because song is clasicall rock does not mean she needs to sing it like clasicall

I've got an "F" and a "C" and I got a "K" too And the only thing that is missing is a bitch like "U"

well yeah, my point was that Rock and Classical Rock are 2 different things and she sung a classical rock song.

Her screaming is not cute imo, I liked the performance and I think the HQ would be better, but yeah she ruined the what's up performance with the screaming ...

I have to say all these people saying we don't "get" rock are making me cringe. You have no idea what people listen to, and you all sound pretty clueless, to be honest. The best rockers know when it's needed to scream and when it isn't. Gaga clearly doesn't yet. Do you think Sting ever dreamt of singing that song like that? Do you think Bruce Springsteen would scream his way through Sad Eyes?

I actually love it when she does it (during G.U.Y. live, for example, or Swine or whatever), but the songs she's covering are not hers and screaming her way through them doesn't make them sound good. They are classics, they aren't even that rocky, and the screaming is 100% out of place.

So, those who don't like what she's doing with these songs aren't necessarily "ignorant when it comes to rock music". Saying that kind of thing makes you sound ignorant indeed, as if "rock" meant "screaming". It doesn't. Listen to Placebo, HIM, PJ Harvey, Garbage, Nirvana, Hole, Marilyn Manson, Arctic Monkeys, The Cranberries... they all know when to scream and when it's not needed.

And it's not like I didn't like it, I DID! But it'd have been even better hadn't she forced that rocky voice. She's an amazing vocalist, she could have shone. But oh well, luckily we have C2C for that.

Agreed! In this case it's soooo forced and amateurish. Too much loud screeming/shouting/"belting" doesn't equall great vocal performance... But we'll see if the HQ works better :)

I love the performance & the screaming. No matter what all the experts may say, as long as I like it it's perfect the way it is to me :whitney:

It's hard to light a candle, easy to curse the dark instead.

I cringed so hard though when she screamed 'ladies and gentlemen, Sting!!!" and there was just silence :rip:

I felt the embarrassment run through my veins :rip:
