jeffswiss 1 Posted December 7, 2014 Share Posted December 7, 2014 things are different now than they were 30 years ago we live in a digital era now where people can use you one year and completely forget about you the next one we have seen many cases like this in the past 6 years and there's A LOT of competition right now plus most of those Madonna's eras were nothing but SLAYAGE unlike ARTPOP and C2C You seem to have a lot of hate directed towards Gaga. It could be sooner than that. 2 to 3 years is typical and standard...and meanwhile, we are in the middle of a successful era that is garnering attention and respect, including the fact that it will probably end up adding a million or so album sales to her total. This "problem" is inside your head. Many other fans, and those in the music industry, don't feel the same as you do. gurls A LOT of people feel the same way as me and you know it the problem is no one knows thats gaga me n my friends saw it on tv and i said ''did u know thats lady gaga?'' they all were so suprised exactly this EXACTLY! I was walking through Newcastle with my friends and the H&M we walked by had Gaga and Tony in the shop window and I said to my friends "hey, that is Gaga you know!" and one of them said "no it isn't. She looks way hot on there!". Then to his surprise it said "Tony Bennett and Lady Gaga" underneath mte and people get mad at me when I say that 80% this world feels either indifferent or just don't know that C2C exists to a lot of people, including her fanbase C2C is NOTHING and for the big part of the GP she IS in a semi-blackout right now someone people need to get out of their computers and see the real world My Favs = Lady Gaga, Janet Jackson, Ricky Martin, AKB48 Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

I was like "look, thats Gagz" and showed a H&M pic to friends, and they were all like "what the hell, no, she doesn't look like this" When people think of Gagz, they mostly have platinblonde Fame Gagz in mind (a lot of people also know the seashell outfit in my surrounding). Gaga wrote all of her songs for The Fame Monster (arguably her best work for most of us,) whilst she was touring for The Fame Ball. She completed the tour within six months. I'm sorry, but it seems to me Gaga writes her best songs when she's in an incredibly limited time frame. As with ARTPOP, she seemed to keep changing the songs and changing the songs. It's a personal thing, but I believe she ruined Sexxx Dreams because she was given too much time, and she kept "perfecting" it, until it was added, mixed, and changed into oblivion. So there's certainly two sides to that argument. I TOTALLY agree with you. I for example prefer the leaked snippet of ARTPOP in 2012 (link here), than the actual song. PopBitch 1,218 Posted December 7, 2014 Share Posted December 7, 2014 Every artist is different although I definitely prefer Gaga's work when she's under pressure I feel, I mean The Fame Monster and Born This Way are my favourite albums and they were both recorded on tour with a tight schedule. I almost find that to be true for a lot of artists for many of their recordings. Too much time and they overthink everything, which isn't necessarily a good thing.. (and Rihanna just started in 2011) None of their past tours came close to the 200 for TMB. Also, neither girl had a major physical injury that required them to be in a wheelchair for four months. Those six months were not a break or "blackout" that was voluntary or chosen by Gaga. TBH, we are lucky we got ARTPOP as soon as we did. This. I live outside the space time continuum.
