The jobs report for November came way past expectations with 321,000 jobs added in November. Thats the biggest monthly gain in 3 years. The US has also added over 200,000 every month for 10 months straight! Many of the jobs were also good paying jobs!

This raises speculation the US Central Bank may be forced to raise interest rates sooner than anticipated.

321,000 jobs? Wow, that's a lot.

yeah lucky you!

in Canada we lost 10,000 last month :emma:

our numbers are extremely volatile tho. we have big gains one month and outright losses the next, its weird. in the US youve been more consistent

It's annoying that they have to perform countercyclical monetary policy.

But I guess it's necessary.

what do you mean? about raising interest rates?

yeah well they have to

the stronger the economy the higher rates have to be or else you get a lot of inflation and credit build up and all kinds of imbalances that can lead to big bubbles
