Hexxx 2,244
Unlike most pop stars Gaga actually is personally involved on creating her music. That's what she'll be doing. She doesn't just let producers write everything and then pick songs thy she had nothing to do with.my artists don't do that. Jazmine Sullivan, Lana and FKA Twigs are some of the most creative writers in music today. Is this shade? Are you shading the person in my avi? Lady Gaga/ Madonna/Lana /Azealia Banks/ Jazmine Sullivan/ DEEE-LITE/ Moko

Dayum 240
bye then, you can leave now And why shouldn't she? There should be no competition with people who don't have the talent to match her. Those who do have the talent is another story. Just imagine in a competition the only rule is "To solve this mathematical question the fastest". One team decides to manually calculate the answer, whereas the other used the calculator. And obviously the person who used the calculator won. But they didn't break the rule, and it is a very creative way to solve the problem because it is not prohibited to use the calculator, but the other team decides to limit themselves in that box of "natural ability", and that's what's happen. They lose. Tools are the greatest gift to man and those who choose not to avail themselves of it should think twice. Or imagine if a person is really passionate about singing, but they don't have the natural talent. Do we naturally reject them? Deny their dream just because they lack natural talent? If there is determination and equipments to help I don't see why we shouldn't allow them to pursue their dream.

Or maybe the person who wants to learn to sing should put in the effort to learn to sing. Calculations are a science. Music is an art. Autotune is paint by numbers. I might actually like the results of some paint by numbers artist but I won't respect them as an artist. They will also never produce original work because they lack the ability to paint without someone else showing them where.

SKANK 14,288
You really don't know anything about her life besides what she decides to share with you, but you'll accept somethings as facts and not others because... Because I am a cynic discussing Lady - "I’m not real, I’m theater" - Gaga's interview. I am using critical thought regardless of how insensitive it may seem. Like everyone else I have a "bull****-filter" that allows me to discern what seems truthful and what seems like bull****. I don't turn that filter off when it comes to serious issues. Having been reading this woman's interviews for six years it's clear to me when she is crafting little narratives for the press to leach onto. With every new project comes a new set of half-truths. The current fib; I've been sining jazz since I was 13. She is a performance artist, when the camera is on she is on. She gave the Stern audience exactly what they wanted, a seemingly raw and honest interview in a bra. That is my opinion. My opinion is subject to change if she goes on to speak more about this. So you don't believe her when she said she was raped? Saying she's been singing jazz since 13 isn't the same as saying I was raped. I know Gaga can exaggerate, I wouldn't be a fan without realizing that but I just don't think she would lie about being raped. It sounds like something I've heard from another fanbase, not from someone that stated they've been a fan for six years. I've also been following her career the past six years and she's always talked about being s-xual abused. She's never directly said I was raped before but if you can read between the lines in her videos, musics, and her interviews it implied what's she gone through. When I heard her say this it didn't come as a shock to me because she's always said it but just not in this way.

LoveandMagic 1,731
I'm sure it will be worth the wait. I'm excited for Madonna, Marina and Rhianna next year. But I'm still hoping Gaga will eventually release the unreleased songs from all her past albums. I can't remember what interview she said that in? Those are some fantastic releases to look forward to! Me, I have so much craziness going on in my life with work and school that time flies! I can barely keep up with all these awesome CtC promos! Just repeat to yourself, "It's just a show. I should really just relax."

This tho she's been hinting at s-xual abuse since 2011, maybe even before if my memory fails me. I don't see any reason not to believe her.
jthorn 37
I don't understand when Gaga has been "full of ****", as so many of you are saying. I get so angry when people say that she is lying when she just changes... we all say things that don't hold true for THE REST OF OUR LIVES. What makes her any different? ...and if you're comparing her saying something like "there will be an ARTPOP app" to "I was raped" to support your claims of her habitual lying nature... you a fool.
