SKANK 14,288
I'm surprised that someone as smart as you believes in denying someone's assault experiences like you're doing here. It is thoughts like that that perpetrate rape culture into placing the blame onto the victims. How can you hold her working with Terry and Kelly against her if that's how she felt it was necessary to share her story? Please don't be one of the thousands of people who don't believe victims when they come out about their stories. We already have plenty of those people in the world f*cking everything up. I'm not perpetuating rape culture or blaming a victim by suggesting that I am skeptical about the seriousness of her alleged abuse. I am as skeptical about her account of s-xual abuse as I am skeptical about other things she has said in the press. You can't be a long time Gaga fan and not see a pattern of overly embellished stories. In this interview Gaga reflects on how weird it was that she used to speak with an accent during interviews. She said it was linked to depression and the isolation of being a public figure. Looking back on it she thinks "why the **** was I talking like that?" Then the same day in a different interview on Colbert, she put on a phony voice and spoke to Tony like she just hopped out of a ****ing Cecil B. Demile film. She is a performer, even during interviews she has a narrative that she wants the audience to receive. I don't doubt that she faced s-xual harassment or intimidation by people in the music business, but I do doubt that she was raped. I don't doubt that she was bullied in school, but I do doubt she was as brutally bullied in school as she claimed to be during the "I Was Stuffed In A Trash Can" Press Tour. I don't doubt that she gets high and parties, but I do doubt her issues with d--gs and alcohol are as serious as she would like the public to believe. If you take her version of events as 100% true then you should find it repugnant that Gaga would have a man publicly accused of the very same type of s-xual misconduct she fell victim too direct one of her music videos. A video in which she duets with a man who has urinated on and had s-x with underage girls.
Hexxx 2,244
C2C from now until July or August, then possibly a single in the winter sometime. The majority of artists take breaks here and there. Time between eras is better for the artists, for the general music listeners and for radio in the long run. It's a marathon, not a sprint!oh okay I didn't know that Lady Gaga/ Madonna/Lana /Azealia Banks/ Jazmine Sullivan/ DEEE-LITE/ Moko

Matt 466
I'm sure it will be worth the wait. I'm excited for Madonna, Marina and Rhianna next year. But I'm still hoping Gaga will eventually release the unreleased songs from all her past albums. I can't remember what interview she said that in? johnpe 916
so this b---h disappears for 2 years, releases ARTPOP, flops, releases c2c and goes back home for another 2years. wthhhhh im srsly starting to doubt her career just cause u've got x platinum singles xx million sales or whatever doesn't mean you'll always be on top. and if she's thinking ''music not the bling'' that's not what her producers think. disappointed MAKE IT WORK

Essence 235
Feeling sad... I just hope that she doesn't completely disappear again from social media. When she did that, she just left all her fans wondering what happened to her. I remember times when I would google "Lady Gaga News" hoping that something new was happening... she even abandoned Twitter for the hiatus that she had. No words at all... She won't do another media blackout. She's just taking time off. She will still be promoting Cheek to Cheek along the way. WirralMonster 26
Please please do the acoustic tour that she mentioned, it would be so perfect. I loved how she mentioned how she loved seeing us all in the audience of ArtRAVE having a wonderful time. Some sad topics covered, but I'd rather hear it this way than through the press who have been snooping.
