They are annoying. Some of them act like her music career is as nonexistent as Lindsay Lohan's film career. I understand criticisms of the music and other types of creative decisions of hers, but my problem is that they seem to actually buy into the propaganda against her. Our fave gets enough crap from the media and a certain group with a pointless vendetta. I'm not one to usually feel sad for celebs, but people are especially hard on her for some reason. Like she's the only one I've ever seen get two #1 albums in two years and STILL be branded as some struggling flop barely charting.

The "she won't make good MVs if the label no longer invests in her" or are worried about her putting on a good show with good production values are making hollow arguments. The inventiveness lies with Gaga herself and the creativity and judgement of her team. The Fame era was low budget but amazing, and there are so many great indie acts with beautiful MVs that actually look better than most major pop star videos.

I mean yeah, I don't want her to flop into oblivion either, but as long as she puts out quality tunes and can maintain a loyal, devoted audience she's going to survive. I was reading this article about this metal band called Mastodon a while back and it talked about how they have built such a cult following that they don't ever worry about sales. This part actually brought to mind the LMs and the type of attitude and devoted brand Gaga has cultivated (the last part especially):

I suspect there was another reason for Dailor’s reticence: He didn’t really need a person like me to promote his album. Mastodon has a loyal audience that will buy whatever the band puts out regardless of what music critics write. Also, because Mastodon is broadly defined as a metal band, it has little incentive to even attempt to reach nonmetal fans. This is how metal works now. No “pop†genre is more segregated from actual pop music. This separation, of course, is not entirely new; in her landmark 1991 book Heavy Metal: A Cultural Sociology, DePaul University professor Deena Weinstein refers to the metal audience as “proud pariahs,†which sounds like a Saxon album title from the early ’80s. This provincialism is primarily a reaction to a historically hostile music press, which in spite of recent strides continues to largely ignore metal as a topic worthy of serious discussion.

The fact that a lot of the LMs actually bought C2C and made a fuss over an ancient big band song like Anything Goes, acting as if it were the bop of the century and actually buying it as soon as it was available on iTunes (& having it go top 30 and not be stuck at like, #1080) is a testament to how loyal her audience is. Very few of us even like jazz, but many supported her anyway. Look at how successful the album is Japan. All in all I think she's good atm.

I just want her to be popular again... Other fanbases will stop laughing with us if that happens, like the KatyCats (ignoring little fanbase).

wait, what? are u kidding? :D you just doesnt have a clue. Britney always was innovative with her music and her shows. She took many risks, so dont say she is not moving out of her save zone. Something like that makes me really angry :deadbanana:

Sorry I love Brit but she never controlled her career and we know that  :smh:

Don't take Stan wars so seriously. They are idiotic and the realm of small minds, group think, and pitiful needs for self validation. Don't participate. Nobody here needs validation from Katycats or any other fanbase to enjoy Gaga.

I agree :applause:

Because we want her to be succesful. I know "music not the bling" blah, blah, blah.... But success is more than bling imo, success is recognition, something motivational, inspiring and essential for any type of artist!!!

First of all, I don't participate and don't take them seriously.

Second of all: I'm also a fan of Katy Perry, but the fanbase has a different way of thinking (so I'm a fan but don't support the fanbase because they are too rude to any fanbase).

I just want all these stan wars stops. And I think if Lady Gaga will become more famous again it will finally stops the war between Little Monsters and KatyCats (if you want to name them). That's all..

And why do Little Monsters care? Well every fanbase hopes this from his/ her artist. Why? Probably their isn't any answer.
