Fiona Apple 13,006
Yes and it is better than a 8 months media blackout Well we will possibly have a blackout too after the ctc era

Slojo 51
Love the Jazz era it's quite possibly the best thing she has done -- it will do wonders for her career and her even more for her image which has become seriously tarnished over the years. Just hoping she doesn't do something stupid to ruin it again
Creyk 17,805
Well I'm not really interested in the music, and IDK why she has to do this while she is still young and can dance. She could stand in one place and sing boring songs when she is old....sometimes I am surprised, like the vocals in the CTC performance today were really good. Sometimes though....she performs Lush Life or another random song and everyone is so in awe and says it's great and I just...don't get it. I really don't. It sounds bad, it's boring and actually irritating to my ears. I came to terms with her choice though, and I'm fine without her making good music, there are others to listen to. Better Day 5,766
It helped me to open my mind to any possibility. I now have Jazz in my Gaga collection so I am happy with the era I love CTC Together You And I!
Jesse Pinkman 4,660
tbh the only song I use is ICGYABL. She seems happy and C2C is doing justice to her image, that's the only reason I enjoy the era. Although I can't wait for her next album, I feel like right now isn't the right time. So with that said, I'd take this over a blackout any day. It's science, bitch
giskardsb 12,565
I might have liked it more if it was original songs and it was just Gaga. First steps. Tony helps Gaga establish credibility in the genre and gets more people to listen to her than an initial solo jazz album would have. She's free to do her own album now. Answering the OP the C2C era is excellent and a welcome chance for Gaga to expand her abilities. She's brilliant at this stuff. Too bad some pop fans can't find a way to step out of their own boxes
KyliesChild 16,907
I like it! She seems so happy :nick:

I know why she did it, I'm just saying I would have enjoyed the album better if it was just Gaga.
Schwerk 7,243
I don't just like it, I love it! Besides it being a great, successful colab, it's been healin. for Gaga, which is always good. I also noticed a change in her singing style, she displays even more technique and control than before. It also shows a different side of her to the GP, reminding them she's not a prefab pop product, but a true artist. I never fear her leaving her past behind, she is a woman with many loves and a rockchick at heart. I expect this era to reinvigorate her love for music and I feel her best work will follow this project. According to Gaga I'm a ****ing rad bitch

At first I didn't care for it too much and I was disappointed we didn't get any original songs..but what I care about most these days is to see her happy and her voice really shines in the music. Also I'm looking forward to smaller venues and a seat and just sth entirely different than her previous shows..still I like it to be just one or two albums and then a switch to rock please

Benji 20,113
I like the album and it's sweet getting the odd video/performance/interview so I am liking it. Plus I quite like the album and listen to it quite often so there isn't much (if anything) to dislike
