Her father erased her identity either though ignorance or arrogance,†Stabler said. “But who knows what the parent was going through?†Read more here: http://www.miamiherald.com/news/local/community/gay-south-florida/article4055600.html#storylink=cpy thats from the article and with the "change" being so recent the father was probably still struggling with the situation and he is probably the one who made the call to cut her hair. i dont know if her father would have ever come around to accepting his daughter but now it doesnt matter :( the girl is gone and imo a funeral is more about the family/friends saying goodbye but what do you say to a father who for the majority of his life has had a son and only recently had that changed into a daughter? maybe this was his chance to say goodbye to his son and maybe its possible that they actually could postpone the funeral and change her back to herself for a sort of second funeral so everyone can say goodbye to her/him. It was the father's decision.
