And we all know that the MEO Arena's numbers are not real. The arena has a much bigger capacity.
uranus 150
*uses tour money to buy Asia a $25,000,000 estate on the West coast* Kidding! These are great! don’t you know my a** is famous
ViviLittleM 3
If you only look at the gross, yes, maybe you're right. But the capacity of the arena was disproportional compared to the country population. Portugal has 10 million people. And the Arena had the capacity of 20.000. That's almost impossible for Gaga. And compare that to the Paris shows. France is a much bigger country and the arena only had 12.000 tickets for sale. LiveNation hoped that half of Spain would come to the Portuguese date, since they didn't even scheduled a date for Madrid. That didn't happen at all. Two shows, 6 000 x2. Blue Jeans 3,815
Two shows, 6 000 x2. He's still right tho, à la fin ça revient à 12000 billets vendus.. Destiny is for losers. It’s just a stupid excuse to wait for things to happen instead of making them happen

mvgp 112
Grossing $365,313 isn't good? I will never earn that amount of money in my whole life Depends on the context. Even if I earned $1,000 today I would be happy but it would be a completly disaster if it was a tour gross.

GlitterAndGrease 594
the 100% sales are not always accurate and completely true. Just look at Athens Date 69 Lady Gaga, Lady Starlight Olympic Stadium Athens, Greece Sept. 19, 2014 $941,091 26,860 / 26,860 1 / 1 $134.99, $45 Live Nation Global Touring/Lavris There were 70.000+ tickets for sale, she sold 26.860 tickets and they called it sold out
Neptune 156
Two shows, 6 000 x2. That only proves my point. Gaga would be sold out if the Portuguese date only had 6.000 tickets on sale. And again, Portugal is much smaller and less populated than France. It makes no sense to judge the success of a show without looking at the country itself and compare its characteristics to the others from other countries. the 100% sales are not always accurate and completely true. There were 20.500 tickets on sale, and they only sold nearly 7500 tickets. It's still marked as sold out. Oh well.
