awe, poor baby! making more money than a lot of people see in their lifetimes must be so tough, you better remove all your music from access to much of the general public!

Kindness rules all.

I do feel like she did damage her own brand by this. She looks like a greedy business woman.

However Spotify is a company as well and I'm not a fan of this whole company world. It starts with passion but in the end it always all revolves around money.

Streaming will not stop, this Taylor vs Spotify is getting tired.

Spotify will be here and sales will continue to fall, the end, let's get over it.

Streaming is stupid and causes huge money loss anyway. most people (excluding fans) get bored of songs after listening to it 40-50 times.

Please correct me if I make any grammar mistakes, I want to master English as much as possible.

Though I don't like Taylor, I will defend her on this. I mean it's her job and if there is a way to earn more money in your job, then do it.

you're right. its her job

This just makes me feel like she's only in it for the money. I mean, I guess that's okay, after all it's her job, but I can't really fully respect someone as an artist when they put monetary interest ahead of their work. It's not like she desperately needs the money Spotify "takes" from her. Personally, if I was a successful artist, I'd want as many people as possible to hear my music, the money would be an extra. And it definitely wouldn't be that important if I was swimming on it :rip:

Spotify is a great way to listen to music before purchasing an album. I use it quite often, especially at work. Even if I own an album I'll often listen to it from Spotify while I'm at work.

All this boils down to is Taylor Swift and her team being greedy. Be happy your music is out there and people can listen to it. This is a format where you can make a small, tiny half million profit from streams. I would beg to say that Spotify can lead to album sales. I know it has in my case.

I think taking all her music from spotify is just pretentious and a bit fake

What the hell ? Are they complaining about not making enough money ? How about letting music be accessible to as many people as possible ?

Why should she? The people behinder her and herself are working her asses of, why should she do this?

And how much would she have made if her albums weren't on Spotify? Would the same people streaming those old albums have bought them from iTunes or somewhere else? I don't think so. I'm sure once 1989 stops selling astronomically she'll put it back on Spotify to squeeze as much cash out of it as possible.

Spotify is in the right on this one and it shall be proven right once 1989 is someday available for streaming on it.
