That's a complete insult to Thriller and everything it has accomplished. 1989 is a good album, but THAT'S THAT. There is nothing more to it. It's not this album or that album, it's f*cking 1989. Thriller broke down boundaries and stood the test of time. 1989 is likely to just be a cute attempt of Swift's team to broaden her audience beyond the American market.

 1989 got nothing on thriller. its basic af. the songs are poorly written basic messes. nothing experimental as opposed to the experimental thriller album. just a bunch of bull crap. overated album.
