While I personally wouldn't say ARTPOP was not a "success" or that she is not "acclaimed", as a pop singer if you don't rule the charts you typically don't get nominated. ARTPOP didn't have much staying power for the general public and if it was nominated at all I'd be surprised, much less win. Now, I think it does deserve to be nominated over some "lock" contemporaries (ie. Prism) but, as I said, it really comes down to popularity. Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
