SlaeUrAnus 16,111
Source: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2799967/gay-couple-kicked-bus-kissing-driver-told-not-real-men.html ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Gay couple kicked off bus for kissing by driver who told them they were not ‘real men’ and said ‘my bus, my rules’ A gay couple were forced off a bus after the driver branded them 'not real men' as he delivered a tirade of homophobic abuse after he spotted them kissing. Jack James, 23, had been travelling through London on his way home from work when he was ordered off the bus after his partner gave him a light kiss. He said the driver of the London bus told the couple it was disgusting and kicked them off, saying 'my bus, my rules.' The abuse is the latest in a series of homophobic incidents, and follows a mass kiss-in staged in Sainsbury's in Brighton last month, after a lesbian couple claim they were asked to leave because they were spotted kissing. Wait... so gay men are not 'real men'? I am all for the "please can you stop that because I am feeling uncomfortable" but that is clearly discrimination. I recall when Yulia Volkova from t.A.T.u saying the same and people jumped down her throat. Furthermore it is not 'your bus' it actually belongs to the company and partially THE PUBLIC and it is not 'your rules' because you abide by the policies of the company. I see straight couples give each other pecks, kisses and full on snogs on the bus and NOTHING comes of it. If anything people bat an eyelid. However, I do believe that people should wait for the bedroom or somewhere private because I would not certainly kiss my partner on a bus or any form of public transport for that matter. In a way, we as a community can exploit and take advantage of our s-xuality, but I just despair at this ignorant bigots comments. Same go for the comments on the article. (WARNING: if you are gay you will get riled up) Thoughts? In my messy era.

Paper Gangsta 6,693
Because it was a 'goodbye' kiss (so it says) If it was goodbye kiss, they had to leave anyway. And if one of them was leaving I doubt there was enough time for driver spot and attack them. They were probably makeing out and now they are just trying to cover it up

I am bothered about the comments of the driver as they apply to the whole of the community. In my messy era.
Haroon 49,685
"My bus, my rules" I hope TFL does something about the driver And yeah I find this more surprising because I've seen heteros-xual couples share more than just a light peck and nothing's happened Also, sorry but he's a bus driver, like his job isn't to decide on who's a "real man" or not
RAMROD 117,063
Unacceptable. Also, I believe they can report the driver under discrimination act in UK. (ノ◕ヮ◕)ノ✧*:・゚ ᶠʳᵒⁿᵗ ᵗᵒʷᵃʳᵈ ᵉⁿᵉᵐʸ (*´艸`*) ♡♡♡

Leo 3,000
Absolutely no point in saying anything along the lines of "They should have" regarding the couple. The only person at blame here was the driver, no use victim blaming.
Rollercoaster 2
Its the gays fault. If it were me on that bus then the driver would not have known what hit him. He would be thrown off the bus. Gay men need to man up and stand up for themselves.
Goosey 3,017
Terrible!Mr James, an events coordinator from Greenwich, told the Evening Standard: 'This type of homophobic bullying cannot be tolerated.'I am considering making a complaint to the police about this.' Lol? The police? What are they gonna do, arrest the driver for being ignorant? :ghostney: "I am the world's greatest person that does not want to let people into the country."—US President Donald J.
