I'm happy Gaga's happy and getting praise and I like the album, but it's a rather boring era. I want some big performances! I hope it doesn't last past spring or at least we get a new pop single, so she can ride the hype/praise from C2C.

 

Plus I'm a bit disappointed that it's all covers. I think she genuinely did a good job, but I don't really like when artists only have an album of covers.

This album has been great for the reasons already stated by others, plus it's "recharged" her for her next solo album. It's also a great time killer until her next solo project. Plus I really enjoy it, despite Jazz being on of my least liked genres!

But most of all, she seems so happy and relaxed now. Maybe even inspired. And Tony has been a great support system I feel, a music veteran role model for her to help her deal with the pitfalls of fame and to instill renewed confidence in herself and her future work.

She may have her best (solo) era yet after this!

Yes. It obviously makes her happy and I LOVE the album! All these Jazz songs are amazing and Gaga's and Tony's voices sound amazing together. Such a good album, may more jazz (as well as pop ) albums follow! Love it!

I don't really care for it after finding out there's no song as melodic as Orange Colored Skies. That's the kind of jazz arrangement that I want for Gaga but this album is too quiet or rather classy that isn't interesting for me.

But I'm happy that she was able to recover through this era. Also, critics were praising her and she got a new perspective from the haters and GP who don't care about her as they see her talent in singing. So overall, I'm happy for whatever good it does to her but musicwise, I don't think I'll listen to it that much.

I think the poll results suggest that the majority is only happy because Gaga is happy doing jazz, even if they don't like it. But maybe I should've included an option for those who actually enjoy jazz and Gaga happened to release a jazz album :)

No. the poll suggests that there wasn't another option in the "Yes" category. Many fans are happy, because they actually are enjoying the music, hearing Gaga sing jazz and the era. I voted for the first option, because it was the only "Yes" available, but I am enjoying the era because I enjoy Gaga singing Jazz.
