Applause was a smash actually, everyone had in their minds the lines ' i live for the applause-plause..'

If you call BR a smash, well that kind of super hit, won't surerly happen anymore. Thah happens once in the career of the artists.

I agree with everything you said.Applause was actually a big hit..! The Fame era isn't coming back though :D

Of course

If DWUW had sold 4m copies, I can assure you she would release another 3 singles and make another 4 Tv performances to support them

Ok I see we ignore her depression and the Troy situation then.

She needs it for her career. At this point, a comeback to the top of pop is what she desperately needs in order to retain the fanbase that kept the cheques rolling in throughout ARTPOP and the Artrave.

If nothing from her next album is an out-and-out smash hit, the album campaign will fall flat - nobody will care - promo will be difficult as hell & the tour will be cheap and minimal.

She simply NEEDS a huge hit to kickstart her career again. Especially in the eyes of the GP who, believe it or not, are the make-it-or-break-it to most popstar's careers.

In my opinion, she needs to shed her ego and look for the absolute best in the business to surround herself with. I'm talking about getting the following people on board:

Ryan Tedder

Paul Epworth

Sia

Calvin Harris

And for imagery including videos:

Jonas Akerlund

David LaChapelle

Anthony Mandler

Spike Jonze

And maybe hire Brian Friedman to co-choreograph.

Get the best team possible and kill the doubters with glitter.

G.U.Y. project disagrees

What does that have to do with her blackout?

She literally said she was depressed and her manager left her. Plus she didn't want to be connected to him anymore and she dropped ARTPOP as a project, like the app.

if you're implying that she needs them as songwriters then guuurrl :awkney:

as producers maybe, but i don't think sia produces songs

to answer the OP, yes i want gaga to have a huge smash, in fact many successful songs (and albums) because of several reasons:

- more music videos, performances, promo

- more tour dates and more amazing successful tours

- but the main reason is so i could enjoy her music with friends & other people because everyone i know either doesn't listen to her or doesn't like her

Yes I care A LOT

Why?

Because gaga is more talented and works harder than the other popstars so she deserves to have success, and it's really frustrating that very good songs like marry the night underperform and other basic songs about money, sluts and twerk slay the charts when it probably took just 1 hour to make the song

This encapsulates why so many are not fans in general of modern pop. The amount of quality material is too low compared to junk.

Yes. Because she is talanted and deserves success. its just not fair some untalanted b---hes to rule the charts( no specific names)

A flop song that I like >>>>>> a smash hit that I don't like.

Personally, I just want Gaga to feel supported and appreciated and if a smash hit is what it takes to help her feel more confident about her music, then yes, I do care.
