Just being honest, and Im sure Gaga would agree. Remember though Tony first saw her at a "classy" invent where she was performing with legends. If he saved her it's more at the level of personal self-confidence. Gaga also needed to find new sounds after the decline of the EDM pop that made her a star. C2C offered her an escape from a collapsing genre (in terms of Top 40 popularity) and a way to remain on TV/awards shows while she figures out her next move. Before the ARTPOP era Gaga was no where. She dropped off the face of the earth for 1 year. With the upcoming era people will have her Grammys appearance, Oscar performance, and C2C in mind.
