Arturo 40,746 Posted October 10, 2014 Author Share Posted October 10, 2014 If we're going to assume TMB DVD doesn't count for album sales (which I think it doesn't since BB didn't include it under her albums for that Katy v Gaga article in 2013) then Gaga was at roughly 9.7M album sales before C2C. 9.7M + 131k + 59k + 40k = 9.93M by the end of this week. I kind of fail to find any :/ I honestly don't see anyone doing it. Everyone that could do it this generation (besides Gaga for now) has already done it. Taylor, Adele, and Rihanna did it. Taylor and Adele actually did it with ease. Rihanna needed 7 albums. Katy is at about 6M so she's quite off. New girls like Ariana aren't even at 1M I wouldn't be surprised if she's the one of the last women to cross it as streaming gets bigger and bigger. The meltdowns if no discounts.. Well Interscope was a bit stingy with discounting ARTPOP during one of the weeks AFTER black friday were album sales were still really good. The only one who could do it is Katy, in a long long time....
