I really don't think she has much to lose if they do end up making a radio friendly version anyway.

It's not like she's a renown jazz artist that would dilute herself with pop influence.

The remix and the album are not 2 different genres. It was just a trick to get a song played on the radio. Also the remix was better than the original, which not the case with C2C, because these remixes are horrible.

From the dance music of Gaga or Rihanna, I don't think swing jazz is anymore of as stretch sonically than recent hits like Stay or Lana's Born to Die singles. We have acoustic songs, slow songs, and songs with saxophones on pop radio already.

Well yeah, that's why I was saying the safer choice would be sending a song that doesn't need to be remixed like Lush Life/Nature Boy/Bang Bang, there's a lot of songs like this on the radio.

ARTPOP back to $14,99. I thought they were going to leave the $7,99 price permanently at this point but oh well :rip:

Love the remixes. I'm down for that. Stelar has that "50 ways to say goodbye" groove going. :legend:

DOWNLOAD THIS: This Turnover Tuesday morning, with few West Coast consumer votes tallied, reflects a momentary disruption of the status quo as an array of new releases rush into the Top 10 for a brief flurry of activity. This state of flux is abetted by pricing; apart from the 16-track Stevie Nicks retrospective, nothing in the Top 10 is priced above $9.99, and four are in the $6.99-$7.99 range. In any case, a few newcomers are showing more staying power, such as Columbia's Hozier and Glassnote's Childish Gambino; Republic's Weezer, meanwhile, carries forward our morning rock theme (as does Mötley Crüe bassist Nikki Sixx's side project, Sixx:A.M., likely to enjoy a briefer stay). Nashville acts top both sides, with Republic Nashville's Florida Georgia Line catching "Fire" with their latest instant-grat track and Broken Bow's Jason Aldean ruling the album roost. While there's typically less disruption on the track side, we note Republic's German Alt duo Milky Chance is newly making its presence felt.  (10/7a)

I mean if one ends up getting good reception on VEVO, no reason not to service it to pop.

It takes off, cool, if not.. welp, it's a jazz remix lol

I think there is POTENTIAL for a good pop remix of ICGYABL but the ones we have heard..

Giorgio remix literally sounds like a random elevator beat in the background of her vocals.. they don't mesh at all :rip:

They need to get that guy who does Lana's radio remixes on board. I'm sure he could make it radio hit material lol

I see potential on a Pop remix of Nature Boy tbh.
