YCHofficial 5,293
This glass-bottomed bridge is the latest contender for the title of "world’s scariest attraction" Don't look down: the bridge in southern China is 180 metres above the ground and sways in the wind Stretching 300 metres between two rocky peaks, the walkway sits 180 metres above a valley in Pingjang, in the Hunan province of southern China. And, if that's not enough to terrify you, it is also prone to swaying in the breeze. There are even specially trained staff available to help any visitors in need of emotional support to make the journey across. Yun Ku, a 23-year-old who did the walk, said: “I was fine at first but by the time I was a third of the way across I just went weak at the knees. “I had to go back when it started to move and needed a lot of coaxing from my boyfriend. I thought I was going just melt on the spot. My legs wouldn’t work.†Trained staff at on hand to help nervous visitors across The opening of the new glass structure follows that of a cliff-side pathway in Zhangjiajie, China. Located at 1,900 metres above sea level, on the side of the Tianmen Mountain, that glass-bottomed walkway is - according to a spokesperson for the local tourism board - designed to “shatter but not break", should a stone fall onto it from the mountain. Hardly a statement likely to instill confidence. “We have had a few people say it’s too scary but I have pointed out that if they feel scared, they should think about the person that has to clean underneath. That usually gets people moving,†the spokesperson told Metro.

I was good until that part. Like can you not talk about it breaking or shattering? It sounds fun but I'm not sure how I'd actually react till I got there and started walking (or crawling) it.
