Willy Wonka 4
I think he actually makes a ton of fantastic points and writes fantastically well. I loved the review. The only part I take issue with is discussing billing herself as Lady Gaga. I don't see the problem with that. But the review otherwise is fantastic. I'm impressed. CannaeDrive 3,412
He seems annoyed that he actually likes the album more then he's willing to admit Agreed. I read this yesterday and found that's a lot of words and pedantic efforts, the guy is going full a--l to find reasons to disregard this album, but he can't, saying at the end : "But in the end, does it really matter? The sales projections are good, if not great. The record has made a splash in the media. These indicators, along with other strong showingsâ€â€the number one debut of Barbra Streisand’s high profile take on the jazz duet format; the hubbub surrounding Django Gold’s New Yorker pieceâ€â€say something positive about Jazz, a genre very close to many hearts: in mainstream terms, it’s far from dead." This is kind of hypocrite, when he should just say that the album does good for jazz, in spite the fact that he doesn't respect Tony and Gaga as artists. But that would asking too much from him, I guess. "Fame Is A Boomerang" - Maria Callas

Mama Ru 994
I don't understand the point of making threads out of negative articles. Don't give them the attention imo. Let's focus on that #1! Im blonde, I'm skinny, I'm rich, and I'm a little bit of a bitch.
Born Brave 2,072
I agree with the fact that Gaga is too loud at moments and Tony sounds like he's whispering at moments.. the contrast doesnt bode well at times... but
MonsterOfSpain 8,318
Poor Tony tbh :ghostga:

Benji 20,113
They made a few points I agree with, I couldn't be bothered to read the whole thing though as I don't really care for the album much anyway
pachinko 10,395
Forbes is full of conservatives. They hate Gaga. So there reviews are invalid.
Willy Wonka 4
It's sad that almost all of you just write this off because it's negative.
Psychedelic 1,098
He makes sense in some parts, but he is definitely biased also... well, not as biased as all of you saying they're pressed now but you always praise them when they put Gaga among the top positions in the Celebrity 100! I don't understand the point of making threads out of negative articles. Don't give them the attention imo. Let's focus on that #1! This though!!! NewYorkCity 10,536
They're quite truthful, though. You're bashing them now, but you'll be praising them when they put Gaga #1 on the Celebrity 100. I praise Gaga for that because she is the one who makes that :ARTPOP:
Benji 20,113
It's sad that almost all of you just write this off because it's negative. It's not even that negative, it praises and criticizes the album. Typical GGD mind set though, unless it's complete praise then the writer is clearly "pressed" Like how some went in for Tony in that other thread just because he said he steered her in the right direction, even though he clearly meant as in making jazz and not to discredit her previous work. People just look for the negatives
Stefani328 321
Whatever. The album is fantastic and it's #1.
