In addition to this "it would have been more fair to have the case decided by a jury of my peers" fair for who? They're not impartial. They're not lady gagas peers. They all have an opinion of her already. The judge was the only person capable of making a decision. If these hard working people have all this great stuff then they must be pretty rich, so it'd be stupid to sue them because I bet their time costs a Damon lot of money.
