hpmcmill 1,984
Question Does it still feel surreal all of the opportunities you've had in life- especially making Cheek to Cheek with Tony? From a student at NYU for a bit, all the way to this in less than ten years seems quite remarkable. I'm a big fan and always proud of your accomplishments! :golfclap:
Diamond Heart 4,400
Nature Boy is my favourite off the album. What were your emotions and vocal inspirations when recording it? "GGD IS NOT FOR YOU" - Admin
Hewkah 48
You said you wanted to make one Jazz album a year? Did that mean collaborating with Tony again, or did you mean other Jazz artists too? :)

Yoshi 35
Hey Gaga! Thank you so much for putting out this new record, I have been hoping for a jazz record from you since the lady is a tramp! I'd like to ask are there any differences in your writing/creative process between writing jazz and pop?
vanish 1,785
I have a few questions in my mind related to Cheek To Cheek. So here it goes... Do you plan on releasing songs that you wrote for Cheek To Cheek, like "Paradise" for us to hear in the future? You have been working on the "Lady Gaga Movie" with Terry Richardson for a very long time now. Do you still plan on releasing it? Especially after the release of Cheek To Cheek, where there must be quite a lot of footage that you have already recorded. You have the PBS special coming in October and the H&M campaign in November. Is there any other major promotion scheduled for Cheek To Cheek? You have been talking about touring with Cheek To Cheek, will the tour be worldwide? How much planning have you already done for it? Do you see yourself releasing a sequel to Cheek To Cheek? If so, what would be different about it compared to the first release? A camera crew was seen filming you in Brussels while you were there with Tony. Will this footage be released in the future? What was it for? You have released a number of studio videos for Cheek To Cheek, will we get any more in the future? Do you plan on filming brand new music videos with Tony? Has Cheek To Cheek inspired you to continue to release jazz music in the future? Love you! gagamonster96 from Twitter.
exoskeleton123 6
Oh my god I have so many questions 1. Would you ever consider doing a record with the Brian Newman Quartet considering you've known those guys for years? 2. What is your favorite Jazz standard 3. Do you see the influence of C2C influencing your future pop music or do you see each album as a set period of time? 4. How did you specifically honor your vomit for C2C taking into account that you did not write any of the songs you sang? 5. Who did you listen to in order to figure out how to interpret the songs the best way? 6. Who are you a fan of in the jazz word besides Ella, and Coltrane who you've already mentioned. 7. Jazz has an obvious improvisational element to it, Do you see your pop music having improv in it? 8. Were there songs you wanted to record for C2C that you ended up not recording/putting on the record for some reason? 9. I'm a jazz pianist, and it would be dope (bad pun) to play for you (i'm from the tri-state area, close to NYC) (shameless plug). 10. Would you ever do an original album of jazz songs you wrote yourself like Captivated reimagined as a jazz ballad? 11. How much say did you have in the arrangements of C2C? 12. What is the best musical thing Tony taught you in terms of improvisation/live performance/ your own creativity? 13. Do you have any jazz piano chops? 14. Do you ever see you making some sort of Electro-Jazz hybrid album or would that be too far out for even you to consider? 15. Critics have given C2C many great reviews. How do you feel about the Critics in relation to C2C compared to the harsh/biased reviews they gave ARTPOP? 16. Are you excited for the tour with Tony? 17. Although you are an obvious recording studio veteran were you apprehensive or scared about going into the studio with Tony Bennett, or did you feel completely in your element? 18. Are we getting a C2C Sequel?
