It certainly seems that way, doesn't it? They literally cannot stop talking about it :lmao:

I know they talk about her everyday, they don't even know they are doing promo for Gaga  :haha:

I saw. THANK U FOR RETWEETING AND AWWW THAT MEANS  A LOT

I agree that this guy's review is unprofessional and bias but sending him an immature/insulting tweet is not helping anyone. You are just perpetuating the idea that little monsters are childish and rabid. Nobody should be praising you.

I agree.   LM"s make themselves and by association Gaga look bad by reacting badly to this kind of stuff.

I strongly disagree. That's nothing but an exaggeration and unfair generalization. The reviews alone for Cheek to Cheek show that an overwhelming majority is appreciative of Gaga, both as a singer and as a brand. Let's not put on a false front that the "media (as a whole) hates her". This is just the 2nd truly negative review I've read so far, after the one from Slant. The media as a whole (i.e. the reputable ones, and not the tabloid) has greatly helped Gaga in turning her image as something larger than life, and they continue to do so with the critical reception C2C is getting.

I strongly disagree. It's not an "exaggeration and unfair generalization" It's only obvious the evil scumbag system/media is trying so desperately hard to tarnish her image and career. There's a conspiracy against her to do just that. It's clear that they hate her. Let's not put on this this false front that the "media as a whole, has greatly helped her in turning her image as something larger than life" They won't stop until her image is completely destroyed.

This review reminds me of the Lana Del Rey reviews I have read.

Lots of criticizing of the person, but hardly any mention of the music.

Too bad

theres like two bad reviews and a bunch of positive ones. Your argument doesn't work.

I've not even been keeping up with exact numbers, thought it wouldn't gave been a lot from how many people are crying over bad reviews :toofunny:

So people are freaking out because two people don't think the album (or Gaga) is great, wooo

I think the issue here is how all the negative and mixed reviews count for metacritic, while so many positive ones don't, for some reason.

It's still only two though? I think the album deserves like a 60 and last I heard it was 70 something? I think it's fine

that's his prerogative.

You're supporting a lack of professionalism on a platform that is supposed to be professional. The LA times is not a tabloid. Metacritic uses their scores as a way to gauge quality in music. Stunts like this completely undermine the objectivity of that.

This isn't even a matter of critiquing the music AND the artist, which is common. This is 100% attack on her as a person.

It's a circus. Gaga's the freakshow. And you're ok with it lol

I just don't understand why people care so much. I'm happy for her if she gets good reviews. If a reviewer is biased and can't write objectively, that's his issue and the LA times' issue. What does Metacritic really mean at the end of the day? If you enjoyed the album, that's all that matters.

:fail:  Guys, tweets like most of these only feed into bad stereotypes about LM's as a whole. It's just one bad review - ignore it completely or respond to it in a careful and mature way. Don't lower yourselves to this level.
