And honestly it's not that exciting if she does an album Adele-like. Nobody does pop like Gaga, and I do believe that's part of the reason why CtC is not getting so much love. People love when she's at her best, doing great pop tunes, spreading confidence back and forth. And a more subtle, raw album is usually less... exciting. Unless we're talking about something more experimental like Pure Heroine. PH is its own thing. If that's what Gaga has in mind, I'm here for it. Otherwise, it's going to be another CtC for me: great vocals, but not so much excitement.

When are you guys going to learn not to read so much into what she says? People always assume she means the worst thjng. You'd think the fanbase would be trained by now.

I agree with this somewhat, but keep in mind Dope is intentionally over the top and drunk sounding. I think Princess Die is evidence that she can pull off stripped back songs in a more tender, direct way.

 

I was actually referencing Dope's performance at the YouTube awards. And now we know she was actually being genuine with all that cry. Yet, during the performance, many people were turned off because she was all over the place and "so real" that it seemed fake...

 

I really don't think songs like Princess Die are the way to go. Still not even half exciting as something like Venus, for example.
