Gaga: "My integrity as a musician is more important to me than money"

Music, not the bling. I agree with her, specially about there being people that are famous, and have celebrity status, for no reason, and how pop music is just trashy now. That subtle shade. :)

Although I agree with her views, she did sort skirt around the question about audio release pioneering. Maybe in the past, she thought apps were the future in music, but when that didn't go well, she may be unsure about the future of music and more concerned about artists being respected for their creativity and integrity. Gaga, you are very creative and it is clear you have integrity. Follow your heart and don't worry about how people perceive it or about critics, who usually have no idea about the meaning or the conception of the music. Critics these days seem to have their own agendas and methods for gaining attention in that cheap gossip way that betrays the objective criticism people used to look for in a--lysis.

Music is a beast not so easily defined or tamed if given enough time to grow and fester in the minds of those who appreciate music for what it is in the first place. The celebrity popularity contest in the media today has nothing to do with music or art. It's just idle talk to keep viewers hooked on their grapevine, therefore negligible to take seriously other than the few music a--lysts that actually know what they're talking about.

Do your own research.

 agree completely ....

and a really great point she made was 'we love to build them up to tear them down.' which totally implies for the past year and so it was cool to trash Gaga in the media circle, like if there is not particular reason just because u said something negative about her was making headline and everyone took advantage of the so called 'flop' and when u look it objectively ARTPOP was only flop on the headlines and the articles around the net when in reality almost everyone in 2013 had almost the same amount of album sales with only exception being the Frozen soundtrack and if other artist barely sold 1m albums with at least one(and more) top 3 singles Gaga made it without that.

And the recent Slant C2C review is just another example of that whole mess that's been surround her for the past year, where Gaga was being reviewed not the music she made which really tells alot of the ignorance and how today's music industry has become 'giant tabloid' ;)

It's much more fun to have hizophrenia... u never get lonely

'Pain of Fame' sounds like a song title :gum: She didn't answer the last question regarding innovative ways to release music at all  And oooooh the "People famous for no reason" :udidnt: I liked this interview overall  Nice to see that she's putting her experiences into music again, and we'll hopefully know of it in a while when it's released

I think she actually did give a very interesting answer to the question about innovative ways to release albums.

She was very clear. It's a trick to distract people from the actual content by giving them short term excitement because of the 'cool' promo.

She thinks there should be more focus on the content, which means more respect towards the artists, in order for them to make great music. Not russhing them or milking the releases as much as possible or as fast as possible.

It was an incredibly insightful answer, although I agree she kinda went on a slight tangent. But the answer is there, and it's very interesting.

Oh, I'm just visiting-

Not saying "Pain of Fame" will be the name of the next album but that is kind of how she said "ARTPOP" in a BTW interview. Plus that seems to be where her headspace has been. I kinda want her to move away from the fame theme though. I love it, but I rather see a new/ different side

So she wanted to show the world it's safe to be in Tel Aviv, wow, we didn't know, let me buy a ticket right now. And being very close with politicians, cause they are known to be the most honest and trustworthy people, amazing. Mess at her random talking about IS.
